Presented by Sheila Kingsbury, ND, RH (AHG) in room 184: "We will go back in time to the early days of the formation of America as a country and talk about the people and the plants that influenced the culture of Appalachia as well as the practice of Western Herbalism as we know it today. We will highlight a few plants native to the Southern Appalachian area and how they were used in the 1700-1800s and contrast to how they are used today."
